Vinyasa Flow | Nicole
Sunday @ 9.30am-10.30am
$10 Casual Class
Nicole was intrigued by yoga from a very young age and with a curious heart and a desire for movement her yoga journey unfolded. Nicole is fascinated with the mind body connection and has a strong desire to help others explore their internal landscape, in order to cultivate a loving relationship with themselves and ultimately the world around them. The benefits of yoga which she has found to extend far beyond the physical body, kept drawing her back to her mat time and time again, and because of this she just knew it was something she had to share. Nicole has recently completed her 200 hour Embodied Flow training with Adele Kinghan and teaches a dynamic Vinyasa flow.
A dynamic vinyasa flow that is creatively sequenced to get you out of your mind and into your body. You can expect to move to the beat of your own drum, with your own breath, whilst also collectively moving together as a group through a playful, explorative practice. The focus is not so much on the poses themselves but rather the transitions and how we choose to meet and welcome ourselves from moment to moment. These classes will also incorporate breathing and meditation techniques that you can take with you off your mat and into the rest of your week.

Wednesday @ 6.00pm - 7.00pm
$120 / 10 Classes
$10 students & single parents
Tania has been teaching Vinyasa Flow and Yin yoga full time for 7 years having completed the 1 yr diploma at Wellpark College with Dr Pooja and Sridhar Maddela in 2010. She has been practising yoga for 20 yrs after falling head over heels in love with Vinyasa Flow having come from a dance background.
Tania focuses on building the bridge between body and mind with the breath to transition to the metaphysical and the energetics of the system, while also cueing alignment needs, making adjustments and giving assistance where appropriate. The more she practices and teaches the more she realises that yoga is reliant on strength more than flexibility so prepare to get your heat on, and acceptance more than anything, urging you to not get caught up in dramas as you're likely to miss the experience. Yoga helps her to be present, accept life's challenges and be open to change. All classes are aimed at restoring body and mind and are suitable for beginners to advanced.

Hatha Flow | Sara
Thursday @ 6.00pm - 7.00pm
$120 / 10 Classes
During a time when I felt self-critical and exhausted, I decided to take a break, leave Sweden, and volunteer for a yoga teacher in Iceland. Never could I have imagined that breathing slowly and mindfully and spending time on my mat could be so incredibly beneficial to me, both mentally and physically. I was hooked. During my years of practice, I’ve come to appreciate the more physical and strength building asanas and flows, even though Savasana relaxation remains my favorite posture. After having experienced a fatigue-depression (”burn-out”), I’ve gained an interest in how the yogic philosophy teaches us how to create a more sustainable lifestyle and relationship to ourselves and others. I graduated in 2017 from my 200hrs training with Shades of Yoga in Bali and I now teach open, private and corporate classes in Auckland, NZ.
Hatha Flow, Thursday 6.00pm
In my Hatha Flow classes we will alternate between longer held poses with a more dynamic flow. We always begin by calming our minds with breath work and end with a deep relaxation. Variations and adjustments make the classes suitable for different levels of experiences. You will leave my class feeling energized but calm, challenged but safe.
See you on the mat!
Flow | Mari-Halina
Sunday @ 12:00pm - 1:00pm
$30 for both
$40 / 3 classes or $60 / 5 classes
or $110 / 10 Classes (All valid 3 months)
Mari has always found salvation in movement; from dance, to circus aerial to yoga, physical expression has been an organic part of her life for many years.
With a degree in contemporary dance and experience as a professional dancer touring Europe, yoga was a natural progression from her extensive experience and knowledge with the dancing body and a deep rooted curiosity in mindfulness and meditation. Having completed her 200 hour hatha/vinyasa yoga TTC in India and currently studying 200 hour Embodied Flow teacher training with Adele Kinghan, Mari is driven by a profound passion to help and guide others on their yoga journey, amalgamating her love for dance with this beautiful, ancient practice.
Yoga Fundamentals and Blissful Flow, Sundays 12pm
Great for beginners and the seasoned yogi and a fabulous way to end one week and start another. In a supportive environment, learn the fundamentals of yoga by breaking down and exploring the common postures and practices we see in a regular dynamic class. You will build strength and confidence in your physical practice as well as deepening your experience and knowledge of the breath and meditation. All followed by some delicious, restorative yoga - blissful sounds, mindful stretching, and reflections on the wonderful, whole and complete human being that you are. Nothing to let go of but rather embracing the rich tapestry of life and finding peace in wholehearted acceptance for all that is.
Strong Vinyasa Flow, Sundays 1pm
In this class we explore dynamic movement with a considered and focused connection to the breath and it’s natural rhythm. Moving consciously through transitions and with ease into a beautiful dance with the body, mind and breath. A ‘strong’ class means that there will be some challenges, both physically and perhaps emotionally, but they are there to be met with grace and curiosity, so that we can learn, grow and flourish. Expect the heart rate to rise, the breath to flow and to play with some standing balances, arm balances, handstands, headstands, everything in between and ultimately to have fun. Not suitable for complete beginners.
Slower Flow Yoga / Kate
Saturday @ 11:00am - 12:00pm
Kate has been practicing yoga for 15 years, and it’s seen her through the ebbs and flows of university, high stress jobs and a chronic illness. Yoga helped put her body and mind back together after multiple surgeries for Crohn’s disease, so she’s well versed in its therapeutic benefits, as well as its ability to help you in every day life.
Kate’s teaching is more scientific than spiritual - having reaped the benefits herself, she wants to translate yoga’s ability to help people reduce stress, focus more, increase sports performance, manage illness or simply function better in their bodies, as well as share the joy she finds every time she practices. Kate recently completed her 200 hour training in Embodied Flow and teaches Vinyasa classes focussed on alignment.
With a focus on breath and alignment, this class begins with gentle movements before moving into flowing through series of postures. We round it out with a cool down of hip openers and relaxing poses, so you can leave class challenged but chilled out. Slower flow is suitable for those wanting to learn to flow, as well as seasoned practitioners, with modifications for all levels and body types.
