This crisp July day has been an absolute stunner, and it's getting us all excited about Spring! It's not just beautiful, it's also a MONDAY, perfect for new beginnings - and we've got one too. Today we're excited to introduce to you a special part of our blog: guest writers. We're on a mission to connect with the finest writers, foodies, chefs, naturopaths, artists, wellness practitioners, yogis, entrepreneurs and all round inspirational Kiwis out there, and share their wisdom with you.

Hi, I’m Lisa.
Hannah and Eleanor have asked me to be a regular contributor for the Mondays website, taking a similar approach to my blog — LISA SAID SO. I’ve been in the natural health industry for nearly a decade now. In my line of work, I frequently get asked the same questions on general health. I also see lots of people making the same health mistakes.
People are confused by the overwhelming amount of (and often conflicting), information available. For example, they don't know whether to 'go the whole hog', and become 100% Paleo or 100% Vegan. Should they continue with their current diet but include supplements or herbs? Or do they just improve their diet by adding super-foods? There are always cases for and against whatever you decide to do.
But the thing is - is it right for you?
Luckily you have natural health professionals to help you evaluate the mountain of information out there! My job is to analyse and edit health and wellness theories, in order to advise on a personalised course of treatment for my clients.

I don’t ‘pull punches’ as a practitioner, or as a health writer. I give you what I believe is a well thought out and balanced review of various health issues. I will give you both sides of the story as I see it, but I always include my overall opinion as a final recommendation to you.
